AnonyMoose / Character + brand world

The mascot was hiding in plain sight.

AnonyMoose came for a homepage video. The deeper opportunity was to give an already clever name a face, a voice and a point of view people could remember.

What our lens uncovered

The moose was already in the name and the logo. The creative idea was to let the character step forward and carry the brand.

01 / The assignment

A distinct product was hiding in generic SaaS.

Privacy software is often explained through shields, locks and dark interfaces. AnonyMoose had something more distinctive available: a character with deadpan intelligence.

The reverse brief moved the assignment upstream. Before choosing shots, we clarified the personality, the comic restraint and the role the mascot could play across the website and future communication.

Story worldThe mascot moved from logo device to a character capable of carrying a scene.

02 / The creative decision

Let the absurdity stay deadpan.

The moose did not need to grin, mug or explain the joke. The simple fact that a serious privacy briefing was being delivered by a moose created the tension and memorability.

A recognizable character. A serious point. No cartoon overplay.

03 / Building the world

From one film brief to a character system.

01 / Listen

Find the character in the company.

We pulled personality from the name, founder conversations, product promise and the way the team naturally spoke.

02 / Reframe

Make the mascot useful.

The moose became a narrator and brand presence, not a decorative animal placed beside the product.

03 / Extend

Open more than one story.

A brand compass, website copy, storyboard and two film directions created multiple routes forward.

04 / Visual Intelligence

What the six lenses changed.

Positioning

Privacy software with a memorable guide, not another anonymous security interface.

Personality

Intelligent, understated, dry and quietly protective.

Belief

Privacy should feel understandable and human, not intimidating.

Tone

Serious enough to carry trust; absurd enough to earn attention.

Appeal

A tactile, cinematic character people want to look at and remember.

Visual identity

The existing moose expanded into situations, expressions and a repeatable brand world.

05 / The role of AI

Generation found the character. Direction made it AnonyMoose.

Models supplied variations. The work was deciding what the moose would never do, how it would hold itself, how the glasses behaved and where the humor stopped. Consistency came from the creative restraints, not from accepting the first image.

06 / The result

They came for a video and left with a brand character.

HumanMedia delivered the pre-production world: character development, script, a 33-frame storyboard, two film directions, website copy and a brand compass. The project ended at storyboard and handoff; no finished video was produced.

Deeper questions

What clients usually ask.

How do you know when a mascot is more than a gimmick?

When the character expresses something true about the company and can help the audience understand the product. The moose worked because anonymity, protection and a slightly absurd confidence were already inside the brand.

Why did the character need restraint?

Because the product carries a serious promise. Deadpan performance let the idea be memorable without making privacy feel trivial.

Can the character live beyond the storyboard?

Yes. The character system creates new situations, lines, reactions and stories while keeping the same recognizable personality.
